The Unexamined Life…
It was Socrates that said “The unexamined life is not worth living.” He was tried and convicted of heresy for encouraging his students to challenge the accepted beliefs of their society and to formulate their own beliefs based on critical examination of their surroundings.
We currently live in a society that is increasingly critical of such examination of beliefs. I will be exploring my own examination of beliefs…religious, political, societal, educational and more, here in this blog. I welcome hearty discussion, heated debate and like minded commentary.
